Back Wall for Kitchen Japanese Books Part-1

Back Wall for Kitchen Japanese Books Part-1

The Rijksmuseum has a fine collection of Japanese books from the period around 1800-1850. The covers of these books are made according to the technique “color woodcut” and are very decorative due to the use of color but also due to the degradation of time. We chose 3 designs to make a back wall for the kitchen design.

This cover was made by the famous Katsushika Hokusai (most famous work “The great Wave”) and is titled: “Famous looks at the Eastern capital”. The beautiful soft-green tones give a nice look in your kitchen!
